Many organisations offer long or short-term contract jobs when specific assignments have to be completed within a specific time frame. The main difference between a contract job and regular employment is the duration of the job, which is only until the project is completed. Contract jobs are not permanent positions, but that doesn't mean that the job won't take weeks, months or sometimes years to complete.
