Our client is a local managed services company with a proven record in providing solutions to private sector clients. They are seeking the services of a Technical Support (level 2/3) to provide technical support and system administrative duties. Standard hours, 5 days per week. Technical competencies include, 3 years + experience:
Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, General Networking skills
Hardware installation and support
Skills in SOE packaging and software deployment
Extensive desktop support experience within a private sector or government environment
Duties for this position include:
Provide phone or onsite level 2/3 desktop, server and network support to a variety of clients across Canberra.
Installation and management of windows desktops and server technologies
Manage and troubleshoot all network issues
General maintenance of all backup & storage solutions
To be considered for this position, you will require the following skills/experience:
3 + years Level 2/3 technical support (private sector or federal government)
Ability to hit the ground running and work within a small team with diverse skills/experience
Strong client focus and service delivery
Professional presentation and communication skills
Current Drivers License
Available to commence work immediately or in Jan 2017
MCP or MCSE certification
Understanding of ITIL or government quality assurance guidelines
