Our client is a consulting organisation that is a force to be reckoned with in the Canberra marketplace. This role will work across the organisation’s Managed Services and Consulting practices. Part of the Digital Customer Experience team within the group, the role will help drive revenue and customer advocacy for and expose you to a range of teams and projects across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
Creating and managing online media assets (e.g. images, CSS style sheets, HTML, mock-ups)
Designing online interfaces (e.g. mobile site, apps)
Creating, producing and testing designs required within major online projects
Contributing to and ensuring adherence to the corporate branding and site design and coding guidelines and standards
Providing design and user experience advice to all business stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will:
Have tertiary qualifications in digital based digital design or visual arts multimedia with broad work experience in digital design and development, preferably for a design agency or large corporation;
Be proficient in the following software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office. PC platform used but experience on Mac an advantage
Understand and have technical skills for HTML and CSS, browsers and related design and coding constraints, experience in user-interface design, preferably for e-commerce sites and apps, good understanding of web/mobile usability and accessibility issues.
Possess excellent attention to detail
Design and UI passion with a customer focus
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Team player who can work both independently and under direction
Current Baseline clearance (mandatory) or Australian Citizen
Available to commence work immediately
